Mummy's Birthday Cake

This is the sweetest birthday cake for my beloved mummy. She received it today and she nodded her head say that, she got the sweetest cake this year which she never had before. I am glad she like the cake. I know she like coffee cake so so much and I change my cake foundation, from cheese I replaced it with Coffee cake =) Luckily I know what she want, cause the first question from her when she received the cake is: "coffee cake ah?" :P

Please ignore the white powder as I should let the cake overnight under room temperature to have brightly color before I snapped pics.....but I am over excited so... here's da result :P

I have been crazy for this kind of cake and I love this kind of cake so so muchiee! I never tried before and what I did? I read GOOGLE from time to time, read for their tutorial and finally, I able to create it ;)

*UPDATE*

My customer will only collect her cake by tomorrow... and me... Not very satisfy with my first art work... so, after dinner, I tear out all the ribbon and redo it... now at least, I am ok with it =)

PC FAIR

Hohoho, my condition now is bloody tired but happy ! The first experience for me to work as volunteer at PC Fair! Conclusion for my napping and sleeping time for this week... approximately 5 hours per day =) But I am still fine with it *for this moment*

Big Head Prawn

Since married, HUS start to help me prepare or arrange thing which is important and he is the one who keep reminding me for the thing I should not forget. Well, this happened on last week... A night after I stepped out from my kitchen... I went back room to take shower and same he was... After done everything, he went down and make sure everything is lock. The moment he walked down and I know sure he will called my name cause I remembered what I did before I took bath... Here's da thing I did, guess what is it =)

My wet kitchen was full of flame... bad smell came from it... ! Me? Of course laugh !!!! My wok? Fine... from stainless steel became charcoal !!!! Nice him, volunteer to brush for me but problem is... I will throw it soon... Not attractive at all ! I know is my fault :O

Summarizeeeee

With so many "E" in my title and I guess you should understand the reason of my bad attendance. I am quite busy nowadays with some camp planning... Still, I able to wake up at 5.30 in the morning to prepare breakfast for myself and the main is for him. He is in noon shift so I think he need some attracting breakfast to catch his mind back. Here's two sets of different decor yet same ingredients breakfast.

The Theme Of Pineapple

While driving back from school, I was think what to prepare for HUS. Since we never taste real pineapple fried rice during holiday at Bangkok, so I decided to fry my own pineapple rice :P Definitely we wont miss out this pineapple fry rice on this coming school holiday trip.I spend almost 2 hours to produce this sour fry rice =)

And also a glass of Pineapple Juice =) Only for him, I unable to slurp it cause I am gastric seriously this two days =(

Steamed Fish + Spaghetti

I am not sure whether you able to slurp this so called spaghetti into your stomach o not. For me, I dare =P
Since I add sauce, pepper, garlic, salty fish ( few pieces ) into my steamed fish so for my spaghetti, I don't think to cook any extra sauce for it. Just wana consume a light dinner as what I mentioned in my previous post.
So, what I do? Normally after steaming fish, there are extra wonderful paste originally came from the fish... *is sweet!* I scoop it out and pour in my spaghetti, add in some vege which stolen from the steamed fish plate.

住家靓汤

Cousin sister told that as a lady @ woman, we got to consume soup ALWAYS to keep our skin nice and looks young :P For sure, this is one of my schedule in daily life. Since young, mummy always boil us 住家靓汤 so now, we stayed different house and still, my turn to boil soup for my own and my hus. Recently we have diet meal during night time, not purposely for slimming but we take caution on our body health. Well, yesterday soup named ABC Corn Soup and today I boil 红枣猪骨汤.

Please Do Not Disturb !

There is so miracle !!! It just happened few minutes ago! Suppose we have maid come our house every Saturday. Of course I sit infront of the pc right now and I just think that Is it ok I make a call to aunty to cancel today appointment?! Only in mind and I didn't take any action... after a minute, my phone ring and there is aunt' number, she informed me that her daughter sick dy and unable to come our house today ! What's so co-incident!!! My mood today: Refused to see anyone!Please do not disturb!!!

Weekend me, didn't go anywhere, date anyone and do anything... Alone at home, feel hungry... Really no idea what to eat... I cook this also... Not what I really wana eat. A bit moody today, reason? DUNNO! :P

Minestrone Soup

We care and we start to have more and more healthy life style. We seldom to go out taste oily foods ANYMORE !! We reduce consume heavy food during night time and start to spoon in more and more vegetables and fruits. Why? I will show you my weight track maybe after few days then !! Terrible !!!

Our Dinner today... I got him Minestrone Soup which is a very simple soup I cooked. For who really interested, you can try it at home =) Fried your favorite vegetables with onions, garlic with olive oil... Break spaghetti into small pieces, boiled and drain it. Pour everything in a 1500ml boil water... Boil it and put in 3 tablespoon of tomato sauce. The rest like salt, sugar or even pepper, add it base on your preferable taste ;)

1500 ml portion: Half for me and half for my husband... He able to finish all as he love this very very much and I only able to finish half bowl of it... FULL @ Satisfied!

Nowadays I in love to prepare breakfast @ Lunch AND placed them in a very cute and nice box :P A bit weird for a marriage lady right? *:P*

Try To Conceive - TTC

Elders around me like start to nagging me about this question and everyone around me do like to ask me this question which is: hey, pregnant dy? or " hey why still dun wan to get pregnant? Still under protection?" Wargh !
We are married for 7 months dy. Still no news yet? Yeap, no news! Why? Frankly, we ttc start from month of Mac 2010. So only 3 months we tried =) Due to my irregular period, sometime really hard for me to predict when is my ovulation date. I did bought ovulation test and ask for some experienced mummy and they are very kind in helping me and answering my questions. Still remember on last month, which is my second month of ttc, I have my missed period though but there is a negative line in test kit and finally menses came on day 37. Frankly, a bit disappointed. HUS did console me in the proper way and say we try again on next month. Me, a person who quite out of patient and I am so stress on this matter recently. Well, again on this month... I have my period due for almost 2 weeks. As I say I have my irregular period *my record is missed for almost 80 days :P *,
so now TO TEST OR NOT TO TEST ? =)

Not feeling well recently and seldom go out to top up my fridge. Since HUS noon shift on this two weeks so I just left my fridge empty with some necessary ingredients. Told him I will get ready dinner for him and I just told him, I grab whatever in my fridge and I cook whatever I can AGAIN! I accidentally found a fish in freezer and of course I left some spaghetti in container so... here's our dinner =)

My First Token

I am so proud that I have been selected to be a MC AGAIN! The MC of the Malaysia Concert Tour 2010. The concert is lead by Mr. Mat Noble, a very smart and handsome guy and all of them are from Concordia, Adelaide Australia. What I should say about the concert is ~ COOL !!!

Unable to show any pictures here as I forget to bring over my camera. What I can show here is my First Token! My first token as MC in my life ! I hope there is more and more to come, for me to earn some extra ma ;P

"Simply Fried"

Keke, the theme for tonight dinner is "simply fried" :P I dunno what ingredients I put, which powder I use... I just grab whatever I saw, whatever I have in my fridge... But that white mouse love this very very much. For him, as long as fried rice, no matter what flavor also he like. Errr, if not mistaken, I combine 3 type of different taste. Kampung powder, Preso Tomato and 麻油 ;P Sound weird but it taste nice ;P

Saw the rice? Hehe, is round and big right? I use Japanese Rice for our dinner. =)

My Breakfast

A very crispy bread with ham, 2 eggs, cheese... put in oven, 160oC for 20 minutes =) Add some paper or sugar ;) Depends on your taste ;)

Burberry

Burberry? I received it on last Sunday with my blank mind! What to say? This is the present from him as he know I desperate to looking for a wallet... *a very normal wallet* No wonder so kind of him invited me to go kl only for a day, his excuse: "Let's go for pet show!" I was like huh? Is ok to follow him, Sunday wat... This is the present which already bought by him and was collected by my future sis in law. My Burberry wallet? Where is it now? Still inside the wrapping paper, inside my wardrobe... I still 不舍得 to use it... I have cards and I do believe that everyone do... I told him I don't think I will slot every of my cards in... it will just spoil my wallet... He asked, own another wallet just for cards??? Kaka, excited is... my another small wallet for only cards used is on the way sending from USA~ Kate Spade Small Wallet =)
I have nothing to comment about him after he told me that... ok girl, no more for your birthday present!!! =_=" I never request him to buy me anything and this is the decision he make for me !!!

木薯糕 + 腐竹薏米

Weather is bloody hot, boiled barley to quench our thirst... good to drink barley than any carbonated drinks. Beside barley, there is 木薯糕 also... =) Enjoy the pictures ;)
